Happy holiday season, peeps! There is nothing I don’t like about this time of the year. It encapsulates so many things I love: cozy nights at home, spending time with family and friends (even more special this year – first Christmas for our baby boy!), fun party invitations, decorating the home – and baking cookies. OK, so last week I was complaining about not having a proper summer, and now I’m literally melting. Temperatures in Switzerland went from 16°C to 31°C within 24 hours. This cries for a refreshment, i.e. popsicles, my friends. (more…)
There’s nothing better than a really good barbecue. We Swiss *love* barbecues. With the first rays of sunshine, the smell of grilled sausages and steaks starts to pervade streets and gardens around the whole country.
