Catch of the day: Sea salt spray

What: Sachajuan Ocean Mist

Why: This amazingly smelling spray gives my fine hair just the right texture, volume and body. It’s also light and doesn’t make my hair feel or look greasy. I love, love, love it! On my second bottle now.

Green Factor: Nah… But again: as long as it’s for the length of my hair only, I’m OK with it.

Where: SpaceNK, Cambridge (UK)

Also available at: In Switzerland you can buy it at Jelmoli – or online on www.feelunique.com

Catch of the day: Hair styling

What: Björn Axén Strengthening Primer for Fine Hair

Why: I have rather fine hair, so I use this luxurious, creamy hair primer before blow-drying and styling and it really helps to protect, nurture and strengthen my hair. It has a super nice texture, is not sticky at all, and has a very pleasant smell, too. A little goes a long way. I never use more than 3 pumps for my medium-length hair.

Green Factor: Nope :-(

Where: Lucky me won a whole Björn Axén set from Annabelle Beauty Glückslos (www.annabelle.ch)

Also available at: Department stores

Catch of the day: Hair mask

What: Rahua Omega 9 Hair Mask

Why: Once a week, I give my hair that extra treat with a good hair mask. This one is more than good: it’s awesome! My hair always feels so soft and rejuvenated, and my scalp all healthy and good. Only downside: the dispenser. I don’t like it. It only releases a tiny bit, so you have to push something like 20 times.

Green Factor: 100% natural rainforest grown

Catch of the day: Haircare

What: Grow Gorgeous Cleansing Conditioner

Why: I’ve heard so much about this no poo hair care that I finally gave it a try. What I really liked is that you only need one product (it’s an 11-1 product – take that!). No additional shampoo, blow dry lotion, styling products, anything. It’s very gentle and it wouldn’t dry my hair out. I found it a little bit itchy on my scalp, though. It’s a good product, well worth a try, but still doesn’t beat my favourite hair products from Cowshed.

Green Factor: No poo, paraben and sulphate free, but not entirely green. Also: contains palm oil which I try to avoid. Too bad for the environment!
