Ever since I read The French Beauty Solution by Mathilde Thomas, I’m on a hunt for natural beauty products. It’s scary and made me angry when I found out what inferior and cheap ingredients even the most expensive beauty brands use in their products. Hence, when I accidentally discovered the newish Pure Hyaluronic Serum from Irish brand Pestle & Mortar which is 100% free of animal derived raw materials, free of parabens, free of fragrances, and not tested on animals, I had to give it a go.
Ah, and I have to admit: I thought this product was enticing enough just on its look alone. I mean look at that clean, cool bottle!
Guys, this skincare product is pure magic. Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum is an incredibly lightweight serum and sinks into the skin within seconds leaving it velvety smooth, soft and glowing. I also love that this serum goes really well with whichever moisturizer you want to follow, and you don’t have to wait for ages as this serum leaves your skin immediately prepared for the next skincare step.
The serum of course contains Hyaluronic Acid which is proven to smooth and hydrate the skin, smoothing fine lines and restoring the skin with a healthy glow. It also contains a lot of other good things like aloe and vitamin E, known to protect and strengthen the skin’s barrier function. I just finished my second bottle and and cannot recommend it enough to anyone who wishes to improve the appearance of their skin! My skin has never looked healthier, purer and more luminous in years.
And last, but not least: you would except a steep price tag for such an amazing treat that will revive dull, dry and lacklustre skin like nothing else, wouldn’t you? But nope! At 43 Euro a bottle, this serum is way cheaper than all the high-end brand serums whose list of ingredients nothing but disappoint me.
You cannot find the serum in stores (yet), but order online. Delivery is free within the EU – but not for Switzerland, I’m afraid (the usual…). We Swiss pay a flat rate shipping fee of 16 Euro, but I don’t recommend you order too many bottle at once together with all your friends to save costs – don’t forget the customs that would add on more expensive deliveries from abroad (expert knowledge…)!
