A good body lotion, used every day, can help maintain the moisture levels of your skin and keep it well protected. It makes it look and feel amazing. For those of you who don’t like to invest those extra 5 minutes every morning into your beauty routine, I suggest to splurge into a greatly scented body lotion, and I promise you: caring for your skin will become something wonderful you’ll actually look forward to. Here are my personal favourites:
Elizabeth Arden, Green Tea Honey Drop Body Cream: As amazing as it sounds. This body cream is super moisturizing! It’s infused with a blend of real honey pearls and perfumed with green tea extract. For you who live in Switzerland: keep your eyes open! Import Parfumerie has a sale on the big 500ml jar about 3 or 4 times a year, and you’ll get it for as less as 20 bucks. If that’s not a real steal!
& other stories, Lemon Daydream Body Lotion: wonderfully light, fruity and uplifting. A superb fragrance for summer.
Bath & Body Works, Sweat Pea Ultra Shea Body Cream: I stock up on this one each time I’m in the U.S. It smells very fresh, fruity and irresistible, and the new ultra shea formula is luxe!
Chanel, Coco Mademoiselle Moisturizing Body Lotion: Skip your perfume for this most fantastic smelling moisturizer. A must-have body lotion with Chanel’s light signature scent. A treat I save for weekends.
Jo Malone, Wild Fig & Cassis Body & Hand Lotion: A warm, woody and sensual scent of sun-warmed figs and juicy cassis. This is an Italian summer night in a bottle. And the formula of the lotion is pure luxury and leaves your skin soft and supple.
The Body Shop, Satsuma Body Butter: Clean, refreshing and fruity. I *love* this scent (as last seen here). For this summer, I also bought the Satsuma Body Sorbet and thought the lighter formula would be just perfect for hot days. Didn’t like the formula at all. It was kind of grainy and sticky. Boo-hoo!
