I love the Easter holidays almost as much as Christmas. And while there’s something to be said about curling up in winter, I always get very excited when the days finally become longer and filled with light again – a sign that Easter is on the fast approach. I’m very much looking forward for the whole family to get together at my parent’s house next weekend and decided to whip up something for the Easter table.
Off to the store to pick up some chocolate bunnies and candy eggs, then a quick peek at the decor shops to get myself inspired. And this is what I came up with. Easy, yet perfectly adorable Easter jars. Each one takes about 5 minutes to make. Here’s what you’ll need:
Fill each jar with hay, a little chocolate bunny and some candy eggs. Then decorate to your liking. I covered the lid with washi tape, tied a cute yellow ribbon around the jar and then pinned on some feathers and a decor bird.
Cute, aren’t they? And they also make a great and inexpensive Easter gift! Egg-cellent, I’d say!
And if you have even less time, here’s another Easter decoration I came up with: little nests (I found them at Migros), filled with chocolate eggs and decorated with feathers and a piece of butterfly ribbon. Literally made in one minute!
Happy Easter everyone!
