Once a week I love a good scrub. It helps combat dull skin (especially during the dry winter months) and leaves the full body with a healthy glow and a feeling of pure freshness and cleanliness. Like with all beauty products, I like variety and change between different brands and textures depending on my mood and on the season. If they come on top of all in a pretty bottle or tube, I say hooray!

Here are some of my favourite scrubs that help my skin glow again:

Aesop Geranium Body Scrub I love the luxurious texture and the delicious floral scent of this product. Thanks to the typically cool packaging of Aesop, an Australian skincare brand, my tube doubles as a stylish decor in the bathroom. A treat every now and then!

In Switzerland available online, at Aesop or department stores like Globus

L’Occitane Verveine Body Salt Scrub With salts from the Mediterranean Sea and the fragrance of pure extracts of verbena, this exfoliator makes a very refreshing experience. A bit on the rougher side, so this is my spring/summer product when my skin is less dry and sensitive.

In Switzerland available online, at L’Occitane or department stores like Globus

Farfalla Daily Pleasure Shower Scrub Farfalla is a Swiss natural cosmetics brand and I came across this shower scrub when visiting a spa last autumn. I immediately fell in love with the fruity smell of it. It is very gentle and can be used several times a week.

In Switzerland available online, at Farfalla stores, drugstores or health food stores

The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Scrub This is again a very gentle exfoliator I like using in winter. And the smell of freshly picked peaches transports you right into summer. Also available in other scents (I really like the Papaya scrub as well)

In Switzerland available online or at The Body Shop stores
